Polaris Sales Australia Pty Ltd are recalling a range of side-by-side utility vehicles due to an electrical issue which may cause fire.
The recall notice states the 2024 models of the Polaris Ranger XD 1500 and Crew XD 1500, sold nationally between 3rd of January and 16th of August this year, may have a loose electrical ground connection for the winch.
It states using the winch with a loose ground connection may cause the unit to overheat and catch fire risking serious injury and property damage.
Consumers should stop using the vehicle immediately and contact the Polaris Customer Service Department on 03 9394 5610 to arrange a repair.
Consumers should not attempt repairs themselves as repairs must only be done by an authorized Polaris dealer.
