Time’s running out for organisations to apply for funding through Round 1 2025 of the Sapphire Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund.

Twice a year, Sapphire Wind Farm invites local community organisations to submit applications for a share of funding that can be used on equipment and infrastructure purchases, repairs and renovations, and programs and events.

The latest recipients to gain funding last November included Inverell Pioneer Village which received close to $30,000, $16,500 to Northwest Mower Racing Association, Inverell Rugby Club scored over $13,000 and Inverell Golf club $10,000

Inverell Poultry Club, BCI Gymnastics, Friendly faces Helping Hands Foundation, Tingha Recreation Reserve Land Manager, Best Community Services and The Inverell Singers Inc also received funding from the Benefit fund.

Applications for the first round of funding this year will close this Friday at 4pm.
