Avid stargazers will have the opportunity to see the night sky in detail this Friday evening for the second annual Sapphire Skies 2024 Astronomy night.

The event, being presented by Inverell High School and sponsored by Squadron Energy, will offer viewers a chance to see the different stars and planets through a telescope as well as being given expert guided astronomy tours.

There will also be a BBQ and drinks available for purchase.

The Astronomy Night will be held at the Netball Courts at the Inverell Sporting Complex this Friday from 6pm, with more information and registration available via the Inverell High School Facebook page.
