The countdown is on to one of the features of Saturday’s Festival Finale in Campbell Park with the running of the Inverell East Rotary Club’s Great Duck Race.

Pat Miller from the Inverell East Rotary Club says the $50 book of 10 tickets for the corporate race are almost sold out while the $2 individual tickets are still available from outside RDR Real Estate this week from 9 to 11am tomorrow and Friday and prior to the race in Campbell Park.

500 plastic ducks will dive into the MacIntyre River at around 5:20pm with the community invited to line the banks and cheer on their duck.

Business house 1^st prize is $600, 2^nd prize is $250 and third will win $150 while the public race prizes are 1^st prize of $150, $100 for second and $50 for 3rd.
