Tingha’s boxing sensation Ricky Sandral got back into the ring for the first time this year on Saturday night taking out a split decision win over Yagoona champion Adam King in Sydney.

Fighting in an elimination final to represent NSW, Sandral dominated most of the bout but left frustrated by the constant hanging on of his opponent, which restricted his game plan.

Sandral will now go onto to represent NSW against QLD in Brisbane next month.

In further news, Team Sandral has agreed in principle to sign up with one of the country’s top promoters in TGW & Smithy’s Promotions with Sandral hoping to go professional this year and take on international bouts
