In AFL Northwest Round 10 results, the Tamworth Swans displaced the Inverell Saints on top of the ladder after their 90-point win over the Kangaroos.
A seven-goal burst by the Swans in the opening quarter set up their 20.19.139 to 7.7.49 victory.

Meantime, Gunnedah Bulldogs also had a big win after thumping the New England Nomads 18.19.127 to 5.12.42 while in the only women’s game played last week the Swans defeated the Roos 7.8.50 to 4.8.32
Gunnedah Poochettes received a forfeit from the New England Nomads.
