The Inverell Saints have qualified for a home ground AFL Northwest Grand final after two tough wins in major semi-finals played at Varley Oval on Saturday.
The Saints women had to come from behind to claim a 5.6.30 to 3.2.20 victory over the Gunnedah Poochettes in a physical contest but maybe without veteran Jamie Pay for the Grand Final after sustaining a shoulder injury.
The Poochettes will host the Tamworth Kangaroos next week in a preliminary final after the Roos defeated the Tamworth Swans by 4 points

The 11.8.74 to 8.8.56 win came at a cost with forward Brady Mather injuring his hamstring and will miss the grand final.
The Swans will back up for a preliminary final meeting with the New England Nomads after they eliminated the Tamworth Kangaroos in the minor semi 15.11.100 to 8.18.66
