It’s a special day for the Inverell Saints Football Club on Saturday when they pay tribute to life member Kevin Pay.
The Saints and Tamworth Swans Football Clubs have been playing for the Kevin Pay Shield since 2021 and is handed over to the team who wins the most matches on the day.
Mr Pay was a tremendous supporter of the Club from its beginnings with his family still playing vital roles at the club today.
The Saints will wear Collingwood style jerseys for the day – in recognition for Mr Pay’s passion to the Collingwood Football Club in the AFL, a team he played for back in the 60s.
The Saints will play the Tamworth Swans in both Senior Women’s and Men’s games from midday Saturday with the day also being the Club’s Ladies Day
