The Inverell Saints head to Tamworth for the final round of the AFL Northwest competition and a meeting with the Tamworth Kangaroos at No1 Oval.
With persistent rain falling in Tamworth this week, Saints officials are waiting to hear if and where the games will be played with the alternate wet weather option, Riverside Sporting Complex, a possibility.
Saints Coach Matt Harrison says his team are eager to have a hit out tomorrow before the Grand Final in a fortnights time in Inverell.
Meantime the Saints Women will also be seeking to retain their dominance over the Roos in the early match.
The Women will use the game to prepare for next week’s preliminary final against the Tamworth Swans at Gunnedah.
The Inverell Saints U14s will tackle the Tamworth/Gunnedah Roosters on Sunday at Cameron Park as a pre cursor to next week’s Grand Final.
