An Inverell Saints junior footballer is on a journey of a lifetime flying to Europe after being selected to play with Wanderers Australia.
Billy Thom flew out of Sydney with the rest of the Wanderers squad earlier this week and will be playing some games of footy and international rules while in Ireland before taking in the sights on the rest of the trip.
The Wanderers trip will also incorporate visits to England and France.
Billy played for the Saints U14’s premiership team in 2022 where he claimed the Club Best and fairest award as well as the Best on Ground gong in the U14s grand final
