Inverell RSM Club’s Number 2 Pennant Team have secured the Northwest bowls open pennant championship after defeating Armidale City 1’s last Saturday.

They will now head to play for a state flag at the end of June.

In further good news for the club, it’s Number 5’s pennants team finished on top of their section ladder and will now take on Armidale City and Wee Waa in Bingara on the 12-13 April for a chance to compete at state level.

Their 7’s team were also victorious over champions Moree on Saturday, playing strongly through the afternoon to come away with a solid win, however their season has come to an end.
