Inverell Rotary Club has installed Bruce George as its new President following its changeover dinner last Thursday evening at the Inverell RSM Club.
Mr George takes over from Helen Tickle who has resided in the position for the last 12 months.
In the clubs 89th year, they were proud to make total disbursements of $33,626 to charities and projects, both local and overseas as well as highlighting some of the big achievements during the year including co-hosting the Science and Engineering Challenge, the Book Sale, their Annual Golf Charity Day, and the Kokoda Hospital Project.
Meantime Mr George relinquished his role of District Governor of Rotary District 9660 as has passed the batton to Evan Burrell for the next 12 months.
