The Central North Rugby Competition has the weekend off due to the 2026 NSW Country Rugby Union Championships being held in Tamworth this weekend.
The Inverell Highlanders have two players selected for the Central North Men’s squad with Harry King and Harry Newnham who have started this season off exceptionally well.
Highlanders 1st grade coach Gemma Noller says both boys deserve their selection in the rep team with Harry King solid in defence and also has the ability to take on the line while Harry Newnham can find space and manipulate defences.
Tom Nikolic has been selected for the Central North Colts team while Harry Goddard has withdrawn from the men’s squad after picking up an injury last weekend.
Noller has been selected to lead the Central North Women’s squad.
