77 North West Secondary athletes took part in the NSW All Schools Cross Country Championships at Horsley Park on Tuesday.
The highlight of the day was Kayden Elliott of Glen Innes High School who won the gold medal in the 18 years event, outclassing a field of over 90 runners to win by 200m.
Other notable performances were by Harrison Akers who placed 4th out of CHS runners in 14 years event, Edward Lockwood who finished 6th in 13 years race, Sophia Bradley and Flyn McFarlane who finished 8th in 17 years and 12 years respectively, Daniel Sykes 9th in the 17 years and Lachlan Mulligan who came 10th in 15 years race.
