Regional Australia Bank customers are expected to experience disruptions to their banking services over the weekend, including digital banking, bank cards and Automatic Teller Machine usage.
The planned outage is due to a major system update as part of the recent merger with Macquarie Credit Union, with the bank saying it’s an important step that brings together the 2 organisations and their banking systems.
The bank advises that during the update, customers may experience limited access to card functionality, and some services will be unavailable including the App and Internet Banking; the bank urging its customers to withdraw enough cash to see over until the start of the working week.
The service disruptions will take effect from 4pm tomorrow October 12th until midday Sunday October 13th, however the contact centre will be available for extended hours during the outage offering assistance to its customers by calling 132 067.
