The NSW Rural Fire Service Northern Tablelands Team continues to monitor a fire burning in the Red Range Area.
The fire continues to burn in steep, inaccessible country south of the Mann Rive & East of Oaky Creek.
There is a previously burnt area east of the fire while to the south, the fire is self-extinguishing as it comes out into grazed areas.
There is currently no threat to properties, however, residents are advised to monitor the Hazards near me App and stay up to date in case the situation changes.
The service says the cooler conditions and high humidity with possibility of showers today will assist in containing the fire. Residents living west of the fire towards Glen Innes will see and smell smoke today.
