Glen Innes Severn Council and JR Richards & Sons are investigating a recent incident where recycling bins were collected with general waste.

Upon being notified, JR Richards & Sons local management team worked closely with their operations team to investigate the matter and confirm the details.

Council state that immediate steps have been taken to address the issue and ensure all collections are carried out correctly in accordance with Council’s waste and recycling services.

In a statement on their social media pages, Council state both JR Richards & Sons JRR and Glen Innes Severn Council remain committed to delivering reliable waste and recycling services to the community and appreciate residents’ understanding and reassure the community that measures have been implemented to prevent a recurrence.
