Recall for a Remote Control

by | Nov 25, 2024 | Business | 0 comments

There’s been a recall of a range of remote controls for Instinct Bio Fire iFire electronic burners sold online nationally between 10 July 2022 and the 14 August this year.

The items are being recalled due to the button/coin batteries in the remote control not adequately secured and are accessible by young children bringing a risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death to young children if they gain access to the button/coin batteries and swallow them or place them inside their body.

Consumers are asked to stop using the remote immediately and keep it out of reach of children and contact Instinct Property Maintenance to arrange for a replacement remote.

Consumers are also advised to dispose of the product in accordance with the local requirements for disposing of lithium batteries and do not throw the product in the rubbish, home recycling, or public recycling boxes.
