Rebels and Compass Strive to Keep Pace with Comp Leaders

by | Nov 21, 2025 | Sport | 0 comments

Some big games are to be played in Round 6 of the Inverell Cricket competition with teams looking to keep pace with competition leaders Staggy Creek.

Campbell and Freebairn Rebels faces Square and Compass in a game where a win is required by both sides as they try to build momentum ahead of the Christmas break.

In the other game at Varley Oval, Delungra will be trying to notch up their first win of the season but face a big task against an in-form Glen Innes outfit.

Staggy Creek has the bye.

Matches kick off at 1pm.

Meantime, Inverell’s rep cricket team are hoping to make their first appearance in the Connolly Cup on Sunday when they tackle Gwydir in Bingara.

Inverell’s first two opening games in the competition were abandoned due to the wet weather
