Final preparations are underway ahead of this Sunday’s Annual Motormania being held at the Pioneer Village in conjunction with Inverell Lions Club Markets.
The day is tipped to be one of the biggest in the event’s history with over 50 market stalls, food vans and more than 200 vehicles coming from towns across the wider New England region. The STA FM broadcast van will also be present on the day.
Speaking on STA FM yesterday, event organiser Spanner Tanner is predicting a large crowd which in turn will help raise funds towards the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service as well as the Pioneer Village
Sapphire City Motorsports Club have already donated $13,000 to local organisations with $5000 donated to the Inverell Westpac Rescue Helicopter, $5000 to VRA, $1000 to STA FM, $1000 to Inverell RSPCA and $1000 Inverell Women’s Rescue Centre
The gates to the Pioneer Village open to the public from 7.30am this Sunday for a gold coin donation.
