Inverell East Rotary member Paul Ray has been bestowed Rotary’s highest honour in receiving a Paul Harris Award at their Changeover dinner last week.
This honour is made to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the community.
In a social media post, Inverell East Rotary state Paul has tirelessly maintained and upgraded their club’s chip catering van, the means by which they raise many thousands of dollars each year to donate back to the community.
The evening also saw Bob Lea take over the President role from Barry Mason as well as a tribute to Club stalwart, the late Reg Wilkins, for his almost 50 years of service to Rotary.
