For the first time in six years horse racing returns to Bundarra tomorrow.
The traditional October long weekend event was last held in 2019 and then fell victim to Covid, washouts and track issues, but is being revitalised with a new committee spending many weeks getting facilities up to standard.
Club President Matthew Monk said his committee was overwhelmed with support from sponsors and people offering to help out to ensure an enjoyable day for locals and visitors.
Six races will be conducted tomorrow from 1pm, and the Booroomooka Angus- BJA Bundarra Cup has drawn a field of 7.
