Meg Payne

Most people know me as Margaret, however on STAFM I am known as Meg. I had a strong desire to become a radio presenter on local radio many years ago. However, I was working full time, so pursuing this dream was not a practical option at the time. I am truly passionate about giving back to this wonderful community. I currently serve as the Secretary of the Inverell Volunteer Branch of the RSPCA, and I have been doing so for about 10 years. I have also been a member of the Inverell Breakfast Toastmasters Club for over 20 years. At STAFM, I have been warmly welcomed, encouraged, and supported every step of the way. The training provided has been exceptional and ongoing. Presently I have two time slots, both programs allow me to present a wide range of music, from country rock and contemporary to rock and roll, and I'm even known to play heavy metal upon request. I truly enjoy every minute on STAFM.
