Joanne Vine

Hi, I am Joanne Vine but everyone calls me Jo. I began my journey as a presenter with STA FM about 8 years ago and have loved every minute of my time presenting on the radio. The most enjoyable part of presenting is the engagement I experience with our listeners and contributing to building STA FM’s relationship with the community. Over the years, my involvement has not always been just as a presenter. I have also held the Secretary position and the Presidents position on the Management Committee having enjoyed helping behind the scenes towards STA FM’s success. My favourite music genre is the 70s. This was a fantastic decade that produced some great classics and bands. I sometimes feel like I am stuck in a 70s-time warp. Outside of radio, my husband and I farm sheep, goats and bees on our property between Ashford and Emmaville. I am also an active member of the Rural Fire Service with the Ashford Brigade and an active member of the Ashford Show Society and the Ashford Show Trust.
