The clean-up from storms that hit the region this week continues with power being restored to several communities.
As of 5pm yesterday in Uralla and surrounds, 1100 customers are still without power with essential energy crews to work to restore power today.
Along with power, Uralla Shire Council advised a major NBN infrastructure failure in Tamworth was affecting internet services across New England, including Uralla and Armidale.
A mobile telecom unit has been set up outside Uralla Shire Council building enabling residents to make urgent phone calls.
