Officers attached to New England Police attempted to speak to a driver yesterday afternoon in Inverell over vehicle registration issues, however the driver fled from officers in the vehicle.
A pursuit was initiated at around 1pm in the Short St vicinity, however was terminated briefly afterwards due to safety concerns.
