Police Call for Help to Solve Break Ins at Fire Stations

New England Police have released CCTV footage to appeal for public assistance after two break and enters at fire stations in the region

Last month, officers commenced an investigation following reports of two break and enters at fire stations at Yarrowyck and Guyra.

Police say between Thursday 21st and Friday the 22nd of November, a man allegedly broke into a fire station on thunderbolts Way, Yarrowyck, before stealing a number of tools from two fire engines.

Police are also investigating an alleged break-in at a fire station on Langford Rd, Guyra on Saturday 19th of October where a man entered the station on Langford Road, before stealing a number of tools and electric devices from the premises.

Initial inquiries indicate both incidents are linked.

As a part of an ongoing investigation, police are appealing for public assistance to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

Inquiries continue.
