Kick off your dusty boots and sit back as I bring you 'Stuck on Country', three hours of great country music every Tuesday,12 pm till 3 pm.
I have made many great friends in the country music sector - international and homegrown Aussies.
I love interviewing and promoting country artists, their new singles and updating STA FM listeners on where they can be seen live.
My love for country music is in my blood, and the credit must go to the late Jimmy Little and our Australian father of country music, the late Slim Dusty.
Country music tells a story, and that’s what makes it so special to me.
Join me on Monday's from 12 noon to 3 pm for my program; Pammy's Vinyl Classics.
Remember the time when you couldn't wait for payday, and
would drop down to your local music shop to buy your favourite single or album?
The single record (45) had A and B side. The A-side was the hit track. LP's ( 33) had 6 to 7 tracks on each side.
The record player was your best friend, giving you many hours of joy listening to your favourite songs.
I grew up in the '60s, but remember the 70's well; my teenage years. Molly Meldrum hosted "Countdown" on the ABC from 1974 to 1987. Posters of Davey Jones from the Monkees, Cliff Richard and David Cassidy from the Partridge Family covered my bedroom walls.
When I was 17, John Denver and Sir Elton John took their place.
As time passed, I realised how much music plays a huge part in our lives. Hearing a particular song that takes you back to that special place and time.
I want to take my listeners on a journey, reminiscing of the music of that time
