Outreach Clinics Kick Off Next Week

Warialda Community Health will be offering Outreach Clinics in the local area throughout the months of August and September.

Visits will be held at Coolatai this Tuesday, Yetman on the 13^th August, Gravesend on the 20^th, Croppa Creek on the 10^th of September and Northstar on the 19^th of September with clinic held between 10am and 12 noon

Nurses will be providing

• Weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar and oxygen level checks

• Health and support information

• Some basic wound care

• Referrals to My Aged Care

• Basic foot care for non-diabetics

• Refer to a Medical Officer if needed for follow-up

• Refer to Podiatrist for Diabetic foot care

• Vaccinations as appropriate for Influenza, Tetanus, Whooping Cough and Diptheria

• Updating Patient/Client details in the Health System.
