A Walcha Roos player has been given a lengthy ban after being found guilty of a racial slur against a Tingha Tigers player earlier this month.
The Inverell Times reports Centre Sam Abraham pleaded not guilty to racially vilified Tingha’s Brennan Cosgrove in their Round 16 clash with the NSW Rugby League judiciary finding Abraham guilty of making the comment following a melee
Abraham received a 24-match ban which can be reduced to 12 if he completes a NSWRL Cultural Awareness course.
