The NSW Rural Fire Service is gearing up for it’s Get Ready Weekend later this month.
As the weather warms up and the land dries, it’s crucial for NSW residents and landowners to be aware of their risk and take steps to protect their homes and properties.
Get Ready Weekend events are held every September and provide valuable information and resources to ensure residents are ready for the upcoming bush fire season with the aim to raise awareness and promote the Get Ready message and preparedness in communities.
The majority of the Get Ready Weekend 2024 events are scheduled to take place on September 21st and 22nd where the public can meet their local firefighters, see their trucks and prepare for bushfires.
