Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan remains concerned about the ramifications of changes to the Native Vegetation Regulatory Mapping legislation being pushed by the NSW Government.
Speaking on STA FM this week, Mr Moylan says several years ago the government mapped NSW using satellites adding what this essential does is divides NSW farming land into either regulated or unregulated.
Mr Moylan says by the end of September, farmers on land classed as regulated, the NSW government will be telling farmers what they can and can’t do on each individual paddock on their property.
He says the mapping is wrong which could see landholders fined for committing illegal activities.
