Nikki Awarded for her Tireless Efforts

by | Aug 14, 2025 | Sport | 0 comments

The hard work promoting the SuperKick program throughout Glen Innes that Nikki Lee has done has been recognised.

Nikki has been named as the NSW/ACT winner of the NAB AFL Superkick Volunteer of the Year category.

As much as the State award is tremendous recognition of Nikki’s dedication, she is now in the running against the winners from the other states to win the National prize.

Due to the hard work, more than 20 participants are now actively engaged in Superkick, an incredible achievement for a town of 6,200 people.

Her leadership, passion and tireless commitment ensure the program not only runs smoothly, but also provides a fun, welcoming and development-focused environment for all involved.

As a local primary school teacher, Nikki extends her impact beyond the oval, building strong connections with families and introducing the game to new participants through both school and club pathways.

In a double win for the town of Glen Innes, former Celts junior and AFL North West umpire Montana Harvey has also been named as a state winner in the Volunteer of the Year awards.

Montana was selected from a strong field nominated in the Umpiring Services category.
