The Northern Inland Academy of Sport is excited to announce that applications for its 2024/25 athlete programs are now open.

Aspiring young athletes across the region are encouraged to apply for a chance to develop their skills in Basketball, Golf, Hockey, Mountain Bike Riding, Netball & Netball Umpiring.

NIAS has been instrumental in shaping the careers of notable athletes such as Rugby League stars, Dean Widders and Nathan Blacklock, Australian Softballer Stacey Porter and Hockeyroos Kate Jenner.

NIAS CEO, Shona Eichorn says they’ve been supporting talented regional athletes and coaches for over 30 years, and are proud to offer opportunities for young aspiring athletes and coaches to enhance their skills, access pathways to higher levels of competition, and build resilience on and off the field.

The NIAS 2024/25 programs provide athletes with access to elite coaching, performance support, and development opportunities, ensuring they can progress within their chosen sport.
