Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan has delivered some good news to Inverell High School with the announcement of a $25,000 grant under the Community Building Partnership fund for the construction of two pickleball courts.
Mr Moylan says the new acrylic pickleball courts would help boost social interaction for students of all ages and abilities as well as promote physical activity.
He says they know how important physical activity is for the health and wellbeing of students and a game of pickleball will help achieve this goal.
Principal Wayne Fowke says they’re thrilled to receive the funding adding not only will it provide more physical activities for the students but enhance the aesthetics of the quadrangle area which is presently very uninviting.
