The Business NSW New England Northwest Regional Leadership Summit 2025 will be staged on the 8 and 9 April in Tamworth where regional business leaders, innovators, and changemakers will come together to connect ideas and create lasting impact across the New England Northwest region.

For this year’s second Summit, Business NSW New England Northwest and major partner Telstra, Tamworth Regional Council and the University of New England (UNE), will bring regional businesses, policymakers, and thought leaders into one space in our region to explore practical solutions to shared challenges and opportunities, ensuring a vibrant and resilient future for our communities and industries.

The Summit is honoured to welcome an exceptional lineup of high-calibre keynote speakers who bring invaluable insights and experience to our region’s leaders, including Hon. Victor Dominello, a visionary leader in digital transformation and policy innovation; CTO at Microsoft, Rik Irons-Mclean, an expert in leadership and organisation development; SkillsIQ CEO, Yasmin King, a highly respected authority in workforce strategy and skills development; Julian Arndt, Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors (ABLA), industrial relations legislative and compliance expert; and a number of expert sessions led by industry leaders and inspiring regional success stories.

Under the theme “Connecting Ideas, Creating Impact”, Day 1 will focus on the transformative potential of AI, sustainable business practices, and regional collaboration, capped with inspiring success stories from businesses making an impact.

Day 2 centres on people-focused themes, addressing workforce shortages, building future-ready skills, and ensuring safe, equitable workplaces, while equipping attendees with the tools to lead their industries confidently.
