Not-for-profit organisation Brighter Access will officially open their newly built Specialist Disability Accommodation Housing in Inverell next month.
The Sapphire Villas will be officially opened at 10am on Wednesday October 23rd with a tour through one of their villas a highlight of the day to see the fully accessible features that allow People with Disability live independently.
At the soil tuning ceremony held back in mid 2023 Brighter Access’ Chief Executive Officer Tanya Fox said the ultimate goal of this project was to give back to the Inverell community, not only to people with disability who may reside in these homes, but also to the local economy and future job seekers, and their families.
Ms Fox says the organisation identified a need for accessible housing for people with disability in Inverell and have self-funded the construction of four Specialist Disability Accommodation villas.
