The Inverell Saints travel to Tamworth tomorrow to kick start an AFL Northwest double header at No1 Oval.
After a fortnight off, the Saints tackle the Tamworth Kangaroos in what’s expected to be another tough and physical game in both the men’s and Women’s matches.
Saints Men’s Coach Matt Harrison says the Kangaroos will be a tougher proposition than their first meeting this year at Varley Oval, noting they only went down to the Swans by 3 points recently while the Women’s team are expecting a stronger Kangaroos outfit and will be keen to keep their unbeaten streak intact.
The Saints sit equal top with the Tamworth Swans with the Kangaroos a game back in 3rd place
In the other games to be played, the Tamworth Swans meet the New England Nomads.
