Brendan Moylan has officially become the new Northern Tablelands member after being officially sworn in at State Parliament.
It follows the NSW Electoral Commission concluding the count this week for the June 22nd Northern Tablelands By-Election which saw Mr Moylan winning almost 68% of the vote on first preferences and a staggering 81.93% on a two-party preferred basis.
His nearest rival was Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party candidate Ben Fisher with 11.38 % and Greens candidate Dorothy Robinson with 9.17 %.
Independents Duncan Fischer and Natasha Ledger garnered 7.17 percent and 4.35 percent respectively.
Mr Moylan says he’s very humbled by the result and very much looking forward to serving the people of the Northern Tableland.
