Meantime, Mr Moylan met with General Managers of local councils yesterday to discuss the community concerns about the regions hospitals and healthcare adding the meeting it was a good exchange of information.

He says out of the meeting, it was confirmed there was good news at Inverell Hospital with the recruitment of three new nurses over the past month or so.

The local member also highlighted that Hunter New England are continually rolling out job advertisements to recruit more health staff to hospitals in Inverell, Glen Innes and Moree which he says is a welcome change of direction.
