Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan has been left a little flat after the State Government tabled its response to an E-Petition to address youth crime in rural and regional NSW.
Speaking on STA Fm yesterday, Mr Moylan labelled the response as weak, adding it mirrors what Attorney General Michael Daley speech in parliament when the E-petition was debated on the floor of State parliament last month.
Mr Moylan says he’ll know look forward to seeing what the government does in relation to Doli Incapax as well as the Opposition’s Crime Bill which should be on the Parliamentary agenda next week
He says the Government didn’t take a lot of notice of the debate and the cries from rural NSW residents wanting action to address the problem adding many government officials weren’t even present for the debate
