Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan has slammed the Minns government’s introduction of new gun laws, labelling it a disgrace.
The government moved to introduce significant reforms to gun laws in December in response to the Bondi terror attacks, limiting firearm ownership and enhancing public safety measures with Mr Moylan stressing the government has done nothing to address antisemitism for the last 2 ½ years.
Mr Moylan says after the terror attack, the government had to be seen doing something and moved on reforms to gun laws adding the changes will do nothing to address extremism and anti-semitism.
He says the reforms will penalise law abiding firearm owners in the bush, something that is familiar to him.
