Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan has given a Notice of Motion on the floor of State parliament this week calling on the NSW Government to start building the Glen Innes hospital redevelopment.
Mr Moylan stated that the development was first announced in July 2021 but remains in the planning and design phase.
During the motion, Mr Moylan says the Glen Innes community is fed up with the on-going delay and called for the Minns government to get on with the hospital redevelopment and start building.
The $50 million project will include a new acute services building that will house an emergency department, medical imaging, mortuary, ambulance bays, and a new main entry with improved car parking access from Ferguson Street.
