Communications giant Telstra have advised they’ll soon be conducting maintenance on its mobile site that services Bingara next week.
The work will result in a reduction in Telstra mobile coverage in Bingara for short periods between the 29th and 30th of January.
Telstra mobile customers will receive texts advising of the upcoming work, adding these works will not impact landline services, nbn or other broadband internet services.
Telstra state any Triple Zero calls from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will automatically connect to another mobile network if available for connection to emergency services.
Telstra customers can continue to make calls and send texts during disruption to mobile services by switching on Wi-Fi Calling, a free setting on most popular mobile phones and allows mobiles to make and receive mobile calls while connected to Wi-Fi.
