Inverell FC Premier League 1sts and reserves are on track for a Minor Premiership berth after both teams managed to fend off the visiting Demon Knights sides at the complex over the weekend.
The reserve team set the bar downing the Demon Knights 4 NIL, while the 1sts had a slightly more challenging game against unfavourable weather conditions, however still managed to come out on top with a 3-1 win.
Premier League Coach Damien Schulz says with the constant performance of both his teams, he’s confident of a Minor Premiership showing.
Meanwhile in the Armidale League both 3rd and 4th grade teams trounced the visiting South Armidale sides, the 4th grade team managing a 3-1 win while the 3rd grade team thumped the visitors 8-2. The Armidale Women’s Premier League team unfortunately had their game against Westside cancelled due poor ground conditions.
