The Rotary Men’s Health Education Rural Van is heading back to Inverell next week with its objective to save local lives.
The Van, or also known as Mherv, has been operating for over 7 years travelling regional and rural NSW offering free health checkups to people who haven’t seen the inside of a doctor’s room since they don’t remember when.
The service is offered in a relaxed, confidential and informal setting with a mherv registered nurse conducting blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels tests and discussing any health concerns.
Helen Tickle from Inverell Rotary Club says the free health check takes just ten minutes which can save your life or the life of someone you love.
The Van will be parked in Evans St, opposite the Town Hall Monday and Tuesday between 9.30 am – 4.15 pm
