A 37-year-old man, wanted by New England Police for outstanding warrants, has been arrested.
About 5:45pm on Saturday evening, police commenced a foot pursuit with Brian Boney at Campbell Park which continued onto Byron Street where he was detained and arrested on outstanding arrest warrants which had been issued in 2021.
Boney was conveyed to Inverell Police Station where 2 arrest warrants were executed, one being a return to jail warrant for a period of 4.5 months, which was issued by the State Parole Authority.
