Inverell Police attended a single vehicle road crash on Auburn Vale Rd at Copeton on Thursday evening.
At around 9pm, emergency services were alerted to an iphone crash detection about 700m south of Morris Lane.
Local VRA – Ambulance – RFS and Police were activated, locating a black dual cab down a steep embankment.
The driver, a man in his 50s, was located in the vehicle and was extracted and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition
