The case against a man, charged for allegedly being in possession of a large number of offensive images, both of child abuse and bestiality in Inverell, went before Inverell Local Court last week.

New England Police District executed a search warrant at an Inverell home last month where electronic equipment and storage devices were seized with police alleging that over 500 images, consisting of both child abuse and bestiality, were located on the seized devices.

Following inquiries, a 65-year-old man was arrested at the same home charged with possessing child abuse bestiality material.

The man, who was not present in court, remains on strict bail conditions and will reappear at Inverell Local Court on the 24^th of April.
