A 33-year-old man charged following separate stabbing incidents in Uralla and Kentucky last month remains in custody after appearing via video link at Armidale Local Court yesterday
The man is charged after he allegedly assaulted and stabbed two women aged 33 and 22 and threatened a 23-year-old man with a knife.
The man was arrested allegedly hiding in a children’s cubby house at an East St address in Uralla where police allegedly located and seized a knife from the cubby house and a Holden sedan, used during the incidents, parked nearby.
He was charged with specially aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-wound, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, attempt stalk/intimidate intend fear of harm, reckless wounding, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The case will be back before the court in September.
